Chapter 38 “Redemption and the Yield” 2026

This week's chapter from Patrick:

Why should I listen to this chapter?

CHAPTER 38: REDEMPTION AND THE YIELD 2026

In the Bible, redemption is God’s act of freeing humanity from the bondage of sin, death, and the curse of the law, accomplished through the costly sacrifice of Jesus Christ’s life as a ransom. It involves restoring, rescuing, and buying back people from spiritual slavery to God’s family, offering forgiveness and eternal life.

Luke 7:48–50 And he said to her, “Your sins are forgiven.” Then those who were at table with him began to say among themselves, “Who is this, who even forgives sins?” And he said to the woman, “Your faith has saved you; go in peace.”

The bending of one’s very nature into an obedient tool for the good of the Lord’s work, by the Lord.

2 Corinthians 5:17 Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come.

Eph 4:24 to put off your old self, which belongs to your former manner of life and is corrupt through deceitful desires, and to be renewed in the spirit of your minds, and to put on the new self, created after the likeness of God in true righteousness and holiness.

What is Redemption? Dictionary; re·demp·tion: the action of saving or being saved from sin, error, or evil. Jesus paid a debt for me and you. It’s huge, hard to fathom actually. Let’s keep identifying the yield.

1 Peter 3:18: Christ died for sins once for all, so that people could be brought to God..

Eternal Salvation, a relationship with Almighty God, and the awesome reality that He will use you, on this Earth, to do Kingdom work, the work of God. How will He use you? Let’s see what’s available, what tools were with Jesus?

Isaiah 11:2 The Spirit of the Lord shall rest upon Him,
The Spirit of wisdom and understanding,
The Spirit of counsel and might,
The Spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the Lord.

Understanding, comprehending a lifetime with God? Pretty impossible without God’s minute by minute intercession. And He thinks of everything.

Acts 2:2-4 And suddenly there came a sound from heaven, as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled the whole house where they were sitting. 3 Then there appeared to them [a]divided tongues, as of fire, and one sat upon each of them. 4 And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.

John 15:26-27  “But when the [a]Helper comes, whom I shall send to you from the Father, the Spirit of truth who proceeds from the Father, He will testify of Me. 27 And you also will bear witness, because you have been with Me from the beginning.

Scripture is so big, all of it, God, Scripture, redemption, very hard to understand. Also the yield, you get smarter. The yield of Redemption is clear in the history of America? A whole nation got smarter before it didn’t. Accepting God in your or my life is huge. Accepting God in the nation, now that is epic. God is mentioned four times in the Declaration of Independence, God or the divine is mentioned at least once in each of the 50 state constitutions and nearly 200 times overall. Thirteen colonies united in opposition to the British empire, and that has led to 250 years of freedom. There were plenty of mistakes, flawed individuals and so forth. Still, America, with a bible in hand, was born and sustained. The yield of God, is redemption for mankind.

Deuteronomy 28:1-14 28 If you fully obey the Lord your God and carefully follow all his commands I give you today, the Lord your God will set you high above all the nations on earth.

God knew the heart of the founders of this country and blessed the land. America has been the most successful country in the history of mankind, until God starting slipping away from it’s foundation.

Deuteronomy 15 However, if you do not obey the Lord your God and do not carefully follow all his commands and decrees I am giving you today, all these curses will come on you and overtake you: 16 You will be cursed in the city and cursed in the country.

One of the most insightful American Founders, John Adams, had this principle in mind when he wrote, “Our Constitution was made for a moral and religious people. It is wholly inadequate to the government of any other.” That is becoming crystal clear as we see changes in the country course, we have slipped away from honor, integrity and God Almighty, all in the name of what is right and be clear kids, it is not right. Jesus Christ is the answer, the promise and the only hope. America proved that in prosperity and unfortunately, if we don’t change course, America will prove that in collapse.

Likewise, William Penn noted, “If we will not be governed by God, then we must be governed by tyrants.”

2 Timothy 3:1-5 But mark this: There will be terrible times in the last days. 2 People will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boastful, proud, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy, 3 without love, unforgiving, slanderous, without self-control, brutal, not lovers of the good, 4 treacherous, rash, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God—

Again, what is Redemption and the Yield? Easy answer, if you believe.

Isaiah 44:22  I have swept away your offenses like a cloud,
your sins like the morning mist. Return to me,
for I have redeemed you.”

It is very important to know how dangerous this world is and how satan moves to destroy it and you. Back in old times the Lord spoke to Judah and warned them of such things, I should likely pay attention to that scripture and the history of the jewish nation. They chose false gods, things which could not promise redemption and God warned them, did they listen, no, they did not.

Jeremiah 2:28 But where are your gods that you have made for yourselves? Let them arise, If they can save you in the time of your [a]trouble; For according to the number of your cities
Are your gods, O Judah.

There is only one true God and He is the only Holy that can provide redemption from sin, death and an eternity of fire.

John 15:4 Abide in Me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, unless it abides in the vine, neither can you, unless you abide in Me. 5 “I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit; for without Me you can do nothing.

You’re saying, “hey, I know a lot of successful people, and they are non believers.” Really? I know them, too. I pray for them. God did not promise all of us a mansion on a hill and money. He did however, say…

Jeremiah 33:3 Call to Me, and I will answer you, and show you great and [a]mighty things, which you do not know.’

I’d much rather know great and mighty things God can show me, than to live my whole life wondering if my luck will run out.
Charles Malik lived from 1906 to 1967. He was the ambassador to the United Nations from Lebanon and president of the 13th Session of the United Nations General Assembly in 1959, he stated:

“The good in the United States would never have come into being without the blessing and power of Jesus Christ…Whoever tries to conceive the American word without taking full account of the suffering and love and salvation of Christ is only dreaming. I know how embarrassing the matte is to politicians, bureaucrats, businessmen, and cynics; but, whatever these honored men think, the irrefutable truth is that American is, at its best and highest, Christian.”

The world laughs at that. Americans are laughing at that. It makes me sad, very, very, very sad.

2 Peter 3 First, be aware of this: Scoffers will come in the last days to scoff, living according to their own desires,

The Yield of Redemption: is not for the faint of heart, especially in these troubled times. What does this have to do with your bottom line? Everything. Perhaps now humility makes sense to you, that alone is profitable, when you add the fear of God, the Love of Christ and redemption for your soul, suddenly your bottom line, no matter what it is, looks pretty good.

1 Corinthians 9:24-25 25 Everyone who competes in the games goes into strict training. They do it to get a crown that will not last, but we do it to get a crown that will last forever.

A crown that will last forever. That sounds a lot better than a new corvette or a house in a rich neighborhood. Work, be grateful for the work. Think of redemption and the daily list God has given.

Ecclesiastes 2:24 A person can do nothing better than to eat and drink and find satisfaction in their own toil. This too, I see, is from the hand of God,

From the hand of God. The God that is outlined in the bible, the one that loves you, created you and has redeemed you. The one satan hates even more than you. The devil never sleeps, and his work ethic is rivaled by no one. He is a tireless advocate of complete chaos, madness and hate for you, your children and all that is Holy. He is fooling the world right now, that the ways of evil are correct and the ways of the Lord are foolish.

2 Timothy 4:1 For the time will come when people will not put up with sound doctrine. Instead, to suit their own desires, they will gather around them a great number of teachers to say what their itching ears want to hear. 4 They will turn their ears away from the truth and turn aside to myths. 5 But you, keep your head in all situations, endure hardship, do the work of an evangelist, discharge all the duties of your ministry.

Do the work, and do it with all your heart, soul, mind and spirit every second of every minute of every moment. Be what God has made in you, be stubborn in your relationship with Him, listen and identify the Holy Spirit and always give thanks. Redemption and the Yield is forever and ever and ever and ever, starting right now.

Malachi 3:2 – “”But who can endure the day of His coming? And who can stand when He appears? For He is like a refiner’s fire and like fullers’ soap.”
